LawnPop donates a custom-built putting green to the live auction at Austin nonprofit events. The winning bidder gets a green designed and installed by our own crew, and the organization keeps every dollar of the bid.
How a donated green works
LawnPop has put a custom backyard putting green on the live-auction block at four Austin events: FORE Kids ATX, the CCA Texas Austin Chapter banquet, a Dress for Success Austin auction, and a Veterans Day golf tournament. The four winning bids added up to $110,000, from $5,000 at the Veterans Day tournament to $80,000 at FORE Kids ATX.
Each winner schedules a design consultation at their home, we lay out a green that fits the yard, and our SYNLawn GreensMaster™ certified crew installs it. The nonprofit keeps the full winning bid.
LawnPop has installed artificial grass and putting greens in Austin since 2010. A donated green is the same product, built by the same crew, as the greens on our putting green page.

For auction chairs
A custom putting green is a one-of-a-kind item that bidders can picture in their own backyard. At golf-themed events the room is full of golfers, and at general fundraisers the green stands out because no one else has donated one. The highest bid so far was $80,000, at FORE Kids ATX.
We handle the design consultation and installation with the winner directly, so your committee has no logistics to manage after the gavel falls.
